Generations 3-4-5 Through Joseph Chugg

Joseph Chugg Settled in the Harrisville and Farr West area of Weber county. My understanding is that his dairy farm was across the road from younger brother Moroni's. He had a realtively large family, nine children of whom all reached maturity. Joseph's family has epitomised the American family that we set as an example: Industrious, patriotic, hard working, faithful. You may note what I did not include. No, this was not a perfect family and you will not find me writing of any that are. I hold, still that this was a family we can ue as an example.
My grandmother remembered visits to uncle Joe's farm. Watermelon in the stream (or well- this is my memory failing now)Buggy rides to aunt Hannah's in North Ogden (or Pleasant View) and Great grandma Hannah Lee Chugg who lived with Moroni. My grandmother was born in 1906, so all but the last two of Joseph's children were older than she. And as Joe died in 1919, the visits had to have been when she was 12 or younger. But she remembered these things well into her nineties, making them -or her memory- remarkable.
